KNAPEN: A PROCESS RECOGNIZED EFFECTIVE FOR DECADES!
The Dryer uses the Knapen process. Knapen atmospheric siphons, sealed in the walls to be treated, attract the humidity from these walls and evacuate it outside, via a permanently operating air circuit.
A 3-STEP OPERATION:
Atmospheric siphons are "tubes", often made of terracotta, which fit into holes drilled in the damp wall:
- 1. Outside (dry) air enters the tube (or drain)
- 2. It takes on moisture
- 3. It evaporates towards the outside of the tube and gives way to a new inlet of dry air
In case of too much water volume, the Knapen process alone will not be effective
AGAINST HUMIDITY: THE DRYER INNOVATION!
The Dryer will force the ambient air to complete the circuit! How ? Using a small built-in fan, the wall dryer will force dry air in and moist air out! This "forced" ventilation (which causes a slight depression in the wall) accelerates its dehumidification!
Because we are committed to satisfying you, we prefer to inform you that there is a case where interior humidity cannot be treated by the wall dryer. When there is humidity in your home caused by poor ventilation (Presence of condensation).
